About the role:

The role is an Azure Data Architect with a focus on high and low levels designs for all aspects including Purview, Security, AI and Fabric.

Note: This role is UK-based and offers a remote working opportunity , with occasional UK domestic travel as required. The successful candidate should hold or be capable of obtaining SC creance to work with UK public sector organisations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and govern enterprise‑wide cloud data solutions, including guardrail patterns, AI infrastructure designs, data fabric frameworks, and end‑to‑end security controls across large‑scale platforms.
• Provide strategic technical leadership by advising on data cataloging, governance initiatives, and ensuring robust architectural standards, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Oversee complex data ecosystem operations, including incident resolution, security governance implementation, and the design of resilient, scalable, and well‑controlled data platforms.

Core Skillset:

• Advanced cloud data engineering and architecture , including Azure Data Science , AI engineering, AI architecture, Data Lakes, SQL database design , and full‑stack Azure capabilities with working knowledge of AWS and GCP.
• Enterprise‑grade data governance and security expertise , covering Purview‑based governance, Azure security architecture, data protection controls, and compliant end‑to‑end data platform design.
• Specialized industry and platform proficiency, including expert‑level SAP HANA/ECC knowledge and strong experience with Bloomberg and London Stock Exchange technology stacks for financial services.
