Part-time Afterschool Nanny in Balham, Job ID J20418
A lovely family based in Balham is looking for a reliable, professional and caring Afterschool Nanny to care for their two school-aged children. The ideal candidate will be someone with SEN experience who understands how to provide structured, patient, and supportive care. The role involves helping the children transition from school to home, supporting routines, and creating a calm, engaging environment where they feel safe and understood.
Working hours Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday | 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM School holidays, 4 full days (15 weeks per year)
Duties include:
- School pick-up - 20 mins walk from the family home or a short bus ride away
- Encouraging daily literacy by reading to the children
- Providing homework assistance and supporting the children's educational support
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines for the children
- Light cleaning related to the children
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children's tastes
The family would like the candidate to start at the end of March.
