Employment Solicitor needed in South West London Paying £291.06 per day ref OR118806
Full time hours on a temporary basis
- Key Responsibilities
As an Employment Solicitor, you will:
- Provide timely, practical and commercially focused legal advice on a wide range of employment law matters.
- Manage a varied caseload of employment-related litigation, including complex, high-profile and sensitive cases.
- Advise on issues including unfair dismissal, TUPE, discrimination claims, Equality Act matters, whistleblowing claims and settlement agreements.
- Conduct proceedings and represent clients in Employment Tribunals, courts, inquiries and other hearings as required.
- Draft pleadings, witness statements, legal documentation, reports and legal opinions.
- Instruct and manage counsel and external legal advisers where necessary.
- Provide legal and procedural advice to senior stakeholders, boards, committees and management teams.
- Monitor developments in employment law and communicate legislative changes and potential impacts to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate case management records and ensure compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of legal services, systems and processes.
- Build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues, providing a responsive and solution-focused legal service.
