Assistant Operations Manager at Urbanest
Location: Canary Wharf, London
Salary: Competitive salary plus discretionary bonus and benefits.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Assistant Operations Manager work 5 days out of 7, between the hours of 7:30am - 8:30pm. Weekends will be required on a rota basis.
The role
As the Assistant Operations Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager/Operations Manager - depending on urbanest property to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure a seamless workflow and the provision of excellent customer service to our residents (measured by NPS) and stakeholders/uni-partners. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with various internal teams, implement operational strategies, and make a significant impact on the overall efficiency and productivity of urbanest.
Key Responsibilities as Assistant Operations Manager:
Manage and develop staff, fostering a productive work environment.
Assist in executing strategic decisions and improving operational processes.
Promote open communication and teamwork, ensuring top-tier service.
Handle performance reviews, coaching, and support for team members.
Ensure operational tasks like building walks, check-ins/outs, and room inspections are completed effectively.
Collaborate with sales and marketing for property tours and viewings.
Assist with budgeting and financial management, ensuring cost control without sacrificing service.
Analyse operational data to drive improvements and solve challenges.
Maintain customer service excellence and ensure compliance with regulations.
Identify training needs and support team development.
