Coffee Field Service Engineer
Coffee Field Service Engineer – London Are you passionate about great coffee and quality engineering? Ready to join a growing technical team supporting premium commercial coffee equipment across London? This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Coffee Field Service Engineer to work across a varied customer portfolio including cafés, offices, hospitality venues, and commercial sites throughout Central London. ☕ The Role As a Coffee Field Service Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring commercial coffee equipment operates at peak performance across your designated area. This is a hybrid field-based position combining travel across London with hands-on engineering support on customer sites. While operating within Central London, much of the role will involve working on foot between nearby customer locations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Servicing, repairing, and diagnosing faults on a range of commercial coffee machines
- Carrying out installations, site surveys, and equipment upgrades
- Managing jobs through an ERP scheduling system
- Delivering a professional and customer-focused service experience
- Communicating effectively with customers and the internal support team
- Maintaining tools, stock levels, and service documentation
- Proactively identifying and resolving potential issues before breakdowns occur
- 1–2+ years’ experience repairing commercial coffee machines (traditional and bean-to-cup)
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities
- Experience calibrating grinders and optimising extraction
- Multi-brand coffee machine experience highly desirable
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated with strong organisational abilities
- Comfortable working independently in a field-based environment
- Good Maths & English skills
- Passion for coffee and pride in delivering high-quality work
- £36,000–£42,000 basic salary depending on experience
