Teacher of English with ECT Support - Camden Independent...
We are working with a prestigious independent school in Camden who are seeking an articulate and scholarly English ECT to start as soon as possible. This is a rare opportunity to join a department that treats English as a true academic discipline within a highly successful setting.
The Role This full-time, permanent role involves teaching English Literature and Language to highly motivated pupils across all key stages. The department is a place of intellectual debate, where staff are encouraged to share their own literary passions and bring diverse, challenging texts into the classroom.

Responsibilities
Teaching high-level English lessons that stretch and inspire inquisitive young minds.
Supporting the school’s vibrant literacy and debating societies.
Working closely with colleagues to refine a knowledge-rich curriculum.
Helping senior students prepare for university applications and public exams.
Requirements
QTS (or pending) and an excellent academic background in English.
The school is unable to offer visa sponsorship; candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
A valid enhanced DBS.
Salary M1 – UPS3 (£40,317 – £62,496) per annum.
