Technical Project Manager

Eeze

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Technical Project Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex technical projects, with a deep understanding of software development lifecycles, agile methodologies, and the unique challenges and opportunities within digital product development.

You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams and ensuring the successful delivery of our technical initiatives from conception to deployment. This role requires strong domain knowledge and the ability to coordinate critical project deliveries across product, design, engineering, operations, and marketing.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with leadership to plan and execute technical and product development projects aligned with business strategy.

  • Acting as the primary point of contact between technical teams and other departments (e.g. product, design, operations, compliance, marketing) to ensure alignment on deliverables.

  • Developing detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, providing regular status updates and reporting to stakeholders.

  • Assessing technical tasks for accurate resourcing and timeline estimation, particularly for product releases, platform enhancements, and integrations.

  • Identifying and mitigating risks, dependencies, and blockers to maintain project momentum, including managing changing priorities and external constraints.

  • Facilitating cross-team communication to ensure technical efforts meet business, user, and compliance requirements.

  • Using project management tools to track progress, manage backlogs, and provide transparent reporting for all projects.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Technical Project Manager (or similar role) delivering complex technical or software projects.

  • Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall), and tools (e.g. Jira, Trello, or similar).

  • Demonstrable experience leading and delivering complex technical projects from end-to-end, from discovery and planning through to launch and post-release improvements.

  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, system architecture, and design with engineering teams.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organisation.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience managing global or multi-regional projects, working with distributed teams across different time zones.

  • Background in a regulated or high-availability digital environment (e.g. fintech, SaaS, e-commerce, media, or similar).
