Engage Education Services has specialised in recruiting education staff in all roles for over a decade. We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic Bursary Officer to work at a fantastic school/college in Greenwich.

Our team has built an excellent reputation in the local area, and we’re looking for more high-quality finance staff to work with these schools.

The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday. As the school finance assistant, you will be part of a close-knit team that works hard to ensure the smooth running of financial services across the school. The Senior Bursars’ duties can include:

• Strategically lead and manage all business aspects for Prospect School.

• You will be an integral part of the senior leadership team working closely with governors and staff to ensure financial compliance whilst delivering the school's long-term vision and development plans in a safe and welcoming environment.

• The post holder will be accountable for operating, maintaining and developing systems, processes and procedures relating to finance; administration; HR; premises; ICT; catering provision; business development and targeted income generation.

• To allocate college bursaries in line with school and funding body guidelines to ensure compliance

• To maintain appropriate records in line with audit requirements

• To provide regular reports to your manager

• To ensure there is a robust system in place for administering the college bursaries

• To process bursary applications in a timely efficient manner

• High level of communication skills to work with a diverse cohort of students

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, and learning database systems

• Accuracy and attention to detail

• Experience in understanding and delivering bursary support

• High level of administration and organisational skills
