About the Role

As their Wholesale Account Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in onboarding new retail partners, managing existing accounts, and driving new business opportunities through outreach. This position is ideal for someone who combines operational excellence with a commercial mindset and a proactive approach to growing accounts.

Retailer Onboarding & Account Management

  • Lead the end-to-end onboarding of new retail partners, ensuring contracts, documentation, and systems setup are completed smoothly and accurately.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to activate new retailers—including SKU creation, pricing validation, and data setup.
  • Provide new partners with brand assets, product details, and compliance materials.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for retail partners—resolving issues, answering product or order queries, and ensuring long-term success.
  • Support logistics and operations in tracking orders, managing reorders, and keeping CRM data up to date.
  • Analyse sales data to spot growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Nurture relationships through regular check-ins and feedback collection

New Business Development & Outreach

  • Proactively identify and research potential retail partners that align with Wonderskin’s brand and growth goals.
  • Drive outbound outreach to introduce the brand and pitch partnership opportunities.
  • Partner with Sales & Marketing to craft compelling outreach strategies and materials.
  • Represent Wonderskin in initial conversations and support new retailer pitches with strong product and market insights.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure all products meet retailer and industry standards (e.g. packaging, labelling, safety).
  • Keep product specs, certifications, and compliance documentation up to date and accurate.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to solve compliance-related challenges.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with teams across Logistics, Customer Service, and Marketing to ensure frictionless order processing and account growth.
  • Prepare updates and insights for internal meetings, strategy sessions, and partner reviews.

About You

  • 2+ years of experience in wholesale, account management, or retail partnerships, ideally in a B2B environment.
  • Strong track record of building and managing retail accounts with a focus on growth and retention.
  • Commercially minded with a proactive attitude toward outreach and new business.
  • Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills—you know how to build rapport and get things done.
  • Tech-savvy: confident using Excel, CRM tools, and EDI systems.
  • Experience with retailer compliance and onboarding processes is a big plus.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-growth, high-energy environment.
