Operations Manager – Maternity Leave Cover – Starting June 2026
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 | Hybrid | Financial Services

You’ll sit at the centre of the business, working closely with Directors, brokers and support teams to ensure the operation runs smoothly, compliantly and profitably.

With an ambitious growth strategy in place, they are now looking for an Operations Manager who can bring clarity, control and consistency as the business continues to scale.
About the Operations Manager Role
As Operations Manager, you’ll take full ownership of the day-to-day operational running of the business. This includes office management, health & safety, people management, MI reporting and sales performance oversight.
You’ll be trusted to manage processes, track performance, support leadership decision-making and ensure nothing slips through the cracks. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys responsibility, problem-solving and being the operational backbone of a successful firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the operational side of the business, including the office, suppliers, facilities and day-to-day issue resolution
- Lead health & safety, statutory checks, onboarding and ongoing reviews in line with regulatory requirements
- Manage the admin team, workload distribution, holiday planning, performance targets and quarterly 121’s
- Coordinate quarterly broker 121’s with Directors and support wider initiatives, incentives, events and engagement
- Oversee apprenticeship schemes and associated administration, meetings and compliance
- Monitor broker performance through regular sales check-ins, target tracking, retention and protection activity
- Review, improve and enforce operational and sales processes to drive consistency and efficiency
- Produce MI, performance reports, commission runs and leadership presentations, alongside ad-hoc reporting for Directors
Operations Manager Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in an Operations Manager or Senior Administration role
- Background within financial services, property or professional services preferred
- Strong people management and stakeholder communication skills
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Confident producing MI, reports and performance data
- Comfortable working closely with senior leadership
- Proactive, resilient and solutions-focused
Operations Manager Package
- £40,000 – £45,000 basic salary
