Are you a passionate and creative English Teacher ready to make a lasting impact? Our client, an outstanding school in Hackney, is seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join their dynamic department. You will be instrumental in developing students’ skills in literature, language, and critical thinking, helping them excel in GCSE and A-Level English.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach engaging and differentiated English lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5
• Prepare students for GCSE English Language and Literature, and A-Level courses
• Assess and track student progress, providing timely feedback to support learning
• Foster a love of reading, writing, and communication skills in a diverse student body
• Contribute to curriculum development and extracurricular activities such as debate clubs and literary societies
Candidate Profile:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it
• Proven experience teaching English at KS3, KS4, and KS5, with strong results
• Outstanding subject knowledge and innovative teaching strategies
• Excellent classroom management and ability to engage learners of all abilities
