After-school Nanny in N1, Job ID J1D51D
A wonderful family in Islington, London is looking for an After-school Nanny to help them in looking after their toddler and school-aged child. The nanny will be calm and patient but have the energy to keep up with the children and take charge of light housekeeping tasks related to them. They prefer someone who could speak the Cantonese, Chinese or Mandarin languages.
A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Tuesday to Thursday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, once a week until 9:00 pm would be great, approximately 14 hours per week
Duties include:
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
- Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
- Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
- Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
- Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
