Carpenter (L3Z1)
Location: Various Council Properties
Contract Type: Permanent / Full-time
We’re looking for an experienced Carpenter to carry out repairs, maintenance, renewals, and refurbishment works across occupied and vacant housing properties and other Council-owned buildings. You’ll diagnose and resolve building faults, complete repairs to a high standard, and ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake all aspects of carpentry repairs, maintenance, and refurbishments.
- Diagnose building faults and apply effective, lasting solutions.
- Deliver high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet service standards.
- Completed Carpentry apprenticeship / City & Guilds SCQF-6 / NVQ qualification or demonstrable time-served experience.
- Health & Safety training relevant to the role.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Must have own tools/drills.
