Year 2 Teacher - Wimbledon - January 2026 Start
We are seeking a Year 2 Teacher to join an Outstanding primary school in Wimbledon from January 2026. This is a full-time position, perfect for an enthusiastic and experienced practitioner who is passionate about shaping young minds and inspiring children to reach their full potential. The Year 2 Teacher will have the opportunity to deliver a creative, engaging, and academically challenging curriculum, in a nurturing environment where both staff and students are supported.
The successful Year 2 Teacher will join a school with a proven record of excellence, rated Outstanding by Ofsted, where children are encouraged to develop confidence, resilience, and a love for learning. Starting in January 2026, the Year 2 Teacher will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing lessons across all areas of the curriculum, adapting teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners. The school values creativity and innovation, and the successful Year 2 Teacher will have freedom to implement imaginative teaching approaches while maintaining high standards.
Year 2 Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified teacher with QTS and relevant experience.
- Experience teaching Year 2 or KS1 children.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage children.
- Commitment to delivering an outstanding learning experience.
