ECT: English Teacher – Join a Dynamic, Collaborative Department in an Inclusive Inner-City School – Tower Hamlets
A dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Tower Hamlets is recruiting an enthusiastic English ECT (Year 1 or 2) to join their vibrant faculty from January 2026.
- ECT: English Teacher required from January 2026

You will teach KS3 and KS4 English Language and Literature with a reduced timetable and comprehensive mentoring . The programme is structured to immerse the ECT in the dynamic life of the school while providing intensive support in planning, assessment, and effective differentiation for a diverse inner-city intake.
Experience and Qualifications
- QTS or completing final training in English or a relevant literary field.
- High commitment to literacy development and engaging pedagogical practices.
- Willingness to fully engage with the collaborative departmental planning cycle.
- Excellent potential for strong classroom management in a diverse setting.
