John O'Conner a national environmental services provider operates an ArbAC contracting department delivering high-quality tree work for our diverse client base across the UK

We have vacancies for arborists working from our depot in Wood Green London to join an existing team delivering work across North London

Working across a number of contracts you can be sure of a variety of work types and locations, supported by our local arb contract manager and the team leader to ensure you have all you need to work safely and with the highest of standards

Mon - Fri 0700-1530. 40 hours per week plus the opportunity for overtime, standby and call-out work, but no obligatory overtime

Excellent rates of pay commensurate with skills and experience, continuing training and development to refresh and upskill as well as career progression in a growing, sustainable and professional business which embraces developments and progression within the industry

6 month probation period

Preferred Skills

Applicants must have as a minimum relevant NPTC certificates for chainsaw operation, maintenance, cross-cut and felling as well as aerial rescue

A full UK driving licence preferred

Skills and qualifications above the minimum desirable include

EFAW F+, chipper, stump grinder, NRSWA, chainsaw from rope and harness etc
