Job Title: Channel Marketing Manager - Partnerships
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000
Location: Hybrid (1-2 days per week in London office)
At Pod, we're accelerating the transition to electric vehicles by making charging simple, smart and accessible. As our Channel Marketing Lead, Partnerships , you'll play a pivotal role in driving growth through our indirect sales channels and strategic partners.
You'll own the marketing strategy and execution across key partner segments including wholesalers, installers, automotive OEMs and dealerships, fleet and leasing providers, homebuilders, and energy companies. Working at the intersection of Marketing, Sales and Partnerships, you'll create compelling go-to-market programmes that enable partners to sell Pod effectively, generate demand, and deliver measurable revenue growth.
Reporting to the Head of Partnerships & Commercial Marketing, you'll have the opportunity to shape how Pod goes to market through partner ecosystems and help establish Pod as the leading EV charging partner across multiple industries.
Here's what our Head of Partnerships & Commercial Marketing had to say:
What You'll Do
Lead Channel Marketing Strategy
You'll develop and own the channel marketing strategy across indirect sales and partnership channels, ensuring activity aligns with wider commercial objectives and contributes directly to revenue growth. You'll identify opportunities to expand reach, deepen partner engagement, and increase partner-generated demand.
Develop Go-to-Market Plans
Working closely with the B2B Acquisition Manager and Partnerships team, you'll create and deliver go-to-market plans for partner propositions, product launches, campaigns and new channel opportunities. You'll ensure marketing activity supports both partner acquisition and retention goals.
Drive Partner Marketing Campaigns
You'll plan, execute and optimise integrated co-marketing campaigns with partners, combining digital, content, events and account-based marketing approaches to generate pipeline and revenue. You'll continuously test and refine activity based on performance insights.
Own Partner Enablement Programmes
You'll create and manage the marketing resources, sales tools and communications that enable partners to position, promote and sell Pod effectively. You'll ensure partners have everything they need to succeed while strengthening long-term relationships.
Lead Events and Industry Engagement
You'll develop and deliver a calendar of partner-focused events, including partner engagement programmes, acquisition events, trade shows, webinars and industry opportunities that increase Pod's visibility and commercial impact.
Measure Performance and Optimise Results
You'll establish channel marketing KPIs and reporting frameworks, tracking the effectiveness of campaigns, events and partner initiatives. Using data and commercial insight, you'll identify opportunities to improve performance and maximise return on investment.
Partner Closely with Sales
You'll work alongside Sales and Partnerships teams to understand partner needs, identify growth opportunities and develop programmes that support channel development, engagement and retention.
Bring Market Insight into Strategy
You'll stay close to market developments, customer behaviour and competitor activity across partner channels, translating insight into actions that strengthen Pod's market position and commercial performance.
Manage Budget and Investment
You'll own and manage channel marketing budgets, making informed decisions on where to invest resources to achieve the strongest commercial outcomes and partner impact.
What You'll Bring
Proven Channel Marketing Experience
You'll have strong B2B marketing experience within partner, channel or alliance marketing environments, with a demonstrated track record of driving commercial results through partner ecosystems.
Strategic and Commercial Thinking
You'll understand how marketing contributes to pipeline, revenue and business growth, and be confident translating commercial objectives into actionable marketing programmes.
Strong Multi-Channel Marketing Expertise
You'll have experience across account-based marketing, digital campaigns, content marketing, events and partner co-marketing, with the ability to prioritise effectively across multiple initiatives.
Campaign Development and Execution
You'll have successfully built and delivered marketing campaigns from strategy through execution, measurement and optimisation, balancing creativity with commercial outcomes.
Outstanding Relationship Building Skills
You'll be an excellent communicator who can build credibility with senior stakeholders, collaborate cross-functionally, and develop strong relationships with external partners.
Data-Driven Decision Making
You'll be comfortable using performance metrics, marketing analytics and commercial data to evaluate success, identify opportunities and inform future investment decisions.
Budget Management Experience
You'll have experience managing marketing budgets and allocating spend based on business priorities, performance and return on investment.
Collaborative Leadership
You'll thrive in cross-functional environments, bringing together Sales, Product, Partnerships and Marketing teams to deliver shared goals.
