Support Worker

Support Worker Location: Glasgow Southside and Surrounding areas Contract: Part time - 30 hours Pay: £13.45 per hour About the Role At Real Life Options we provide person centred support to enable the PWS to live the life that they choose. Support is uniquely tailored to each individual, ensuring they have choice and control over the planning and delivery of their support. You will support them to reach their potential by providing both physical and emotional support, along with encouraging them to develop positive relationships and achieve their goals. You'll be working alongside an experienced and friendly team in a role that gives you the opportunity to make a real difference. We're looking for committed and caring individuals who have great communication skills. What You'll Do Support individuals with personal care, medication, cooking, and household tasks Enable involvement in the local community and promote independence Support with making and attending health care appointments
Communicate with medical professionals and implement support plans and risk assessments Maintain clear and accurate records of support provided Communicate effectively with the team and family members Work independently and as part of a supportive team Manual handling Shift Patterns Shift Patterns (Rota Basis) - Various shift patterns plus sleepovers What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Caring and compassionate Honest and reliable Flexible and self-motivated A good communicator Inclusive and values-driven Requirements Must be able to work as part of a team and lone working; take initiative and problem-solving skills.
