SEN Teaching Assistant
Psychology Graduates Pay: £90-£110 per day Full-time/ Term Time only Epping Forest, Essex We're currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Psychology graduates to join our partner schools as SEN Teaching Assistants. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) to achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. SEN Teaching Assistant Roles: Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN, including those with autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and other learning needs. Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored learning activities. Help create a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom environment. Monitor and report on student progress and behaviour. Support students in developing social and communication skills. Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and parents. SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements: Experience working with children with SEN (either in school, care, or a similar setting). A calm, patient, and empathetic approach. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well as part of a team. An Enhanced DBS desirable but not essential.
