Working hours: Full time, 09:00AM – 17:00PM

The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Pharmacy Technician to join our team in London. This is a temporary position, starting on the 28th of October 2024 and running until the 22nd of November 2024. The successful candidate will be working full-time hours from 09:00 AM to 17:00 PM.

Duties and Responsibilities:

You will dispense medications accurately and efficiently. You will provide excellent customer service and patient care. You will assist with the management of pharmacy inventory. You will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. You will support the pharmacy team with various tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience/Knowledge:
    • NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or Qualified Pharmacy Technician with relevant certification.
    • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a pharmacy technician.
    • Minimum of 2 years’ post-registration NHS hospital pharmacy experience.
  • Skills/Abilities:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
    • Good organizational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
