Night Security Officer (Hiring Immediately)

As a Night Security Officer at The Cadogan you will join our fantastic security team who look after each other, our amazing property and our guests.

Primary Responsibilities Include  

• Conduct systematic and varied patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas to deter criminal activity, detect unauthorised access, and identify potential hazards. 

• Operate and monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control mechanisms. 

• Review security footage and respond promptly to detected threats or suspicious movements 

• Strictly manage access to restricted areas, verifying identification, issuing visitor passes, and ensuring only authorised individuals enter after hours. 

• Act quickly and effectively to contain situations and minimise risk during emergencies such as medical incidents, fire outbreaks, or security threats.

• Providing first aid, activating emergency protocols, and coordinating with law enforcement and emergency response teams. 

• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all activities, unusual occurrences, security breaches, equipment malfunctions, and emergency responses. 

• Ensure compliance with company policies, rules, and regulations to maintain a secure and orderly environment.

Requirements

What You Bring:

• Experience in security or a similar role

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

• Hold a valid SIA Door Supervisors Licence

• Hold a valid Emergency First Aid at Work certificate
