Campaign Executive
Greetings! The Opportunity Hub UK is on the lookout for a talented Campaign Executive to join our team and be part of an ambitious growth story. The RoleAs a Campaign Executive, you will be a core part of client teams, assisting with day-to-day account handling, and proactively looking for opportunities to articulate their clients’ stories and missions in the media. You'll need around 8-12 months of agency experience, great communication skills, and a strong understanding of media relations and the press. Alongside regularly pitching story ideas, you will assist with researching and writing thought leadership reports and articles, support with event planning, production and execution, and support in the management of social media accounts. Our office is situated in South West London (SW18). Although the role will currently be based remotely due to COVID-19, please ensure that the journey to SW18 is feasible for you in the medium to longer term. Here's what you'll be doing:
- Supporting with day-to-day running of client accounts
- Media relations, pitching stories and proactively finding opportunities and angles, writing and distributing press releases and opinion editorials
- Developing and strengthening your network of media contacts
- Drafting content – media pitches, opinion editorials, press releases, and web copy
- Assisting with research and production of thought leadership reports
- Assisting with development and management of social media platforms and content
- Support with event planning and event execution
- Support preparation of new business proposals and presentations
- Reporting and analysis of results
- Client handling – via email, over the phone and in person
- Team player
- Proactive and able to work on own initiative
- Great attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to prioritise and work across a range of client accounts
- Appetite for knowledge and improvement
- Confident in contributing to client and internal meetings
- Appetite to develop a network of media contacts
- Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients and the media
- Willing to contribute to brainstorms
- Ability to manage own time
- Around 12-months agency experience preferred
