Job Title: Senior Management Liability Underwriter(s)

Location: London (with potential flexible working arrangements)

Overview:
An established and growing financial lines team seeks to talk with Management Liability Underwriters to join their expanding portfolio. The successful candidate(s) will play a key role in underwriting mid-market D&O, Management Liability, and related financial lines risks. This is a high-profile role offering exposure to complex accounts and the opportunity to work within a collaborative, fast-paced team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Underwrite Management Liability risks (D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, and Crime) for mid-market clients.

  • Review and assess policies, endorsements, and renewals, ensuring accuracy and adherence to guidelines.

  • Collaborate closely with brokers and internal stakeholders to develop tailored solutions.

  • Mentor and support junior underwriters, providing technical guidance and fostering team development.

  • Stay informed of market trends, emerging risks, and competitor activity to inform underwriting strategy.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4–5 years’ experience in Management Liability or related financial lines underwriting.

  • Strong technical knowledge of slips, endorsements, and underwriting processes.

  • Proven ability to manage complex mid-market accounts and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
