Mobile Building Services Refrigeration Engineer / HVACR

Location: London & Home Counties Type: Full-Time | Permanent Salary: Up to £51,000 (DOE) + Overtime + Company Van + Benefits A leading building services provider is seeking a skilled Mobile Refrigeration Engineer to support their growing client base across London and the Home Counties. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established and reputable company delivering essential FM services across commercial, healthcare, and public sector environments. The Role: You’ll carry out planned and reactive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of refrigeration and associated HVAC equipment. Working on critical and varied sites, this role requires strong technical capability and a high standard of professionalism. Key Responsibilities: * Planned and reactive maintenance on refrigeration systems * Diagnosing and repairing faults on chillers, cold rooms, freezers, and split systems * Supporting wider building services tasks where required * Ensuring compliance with F-Gas, health and safety, and site regulations * Providing exceptional customer service across client sites Equipment You’ll Work On: * Cold rooms and walk-in freezers * Split and multi-split AC units * Chillers * VRV/VRF systems * Packaged refrigeration systems Required Qualifications & Certifications: * F-Gas Category 1 certification (C&G 2079 or equivalent) – mandatory * NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning – strongly preferred * Full UK driving licence – essential * Health & Safety awareness (e.g. CSCS card) – preferred * Electrical safety training – advantageous * Asbestos Awareness, PASMA or IPAF certifications – a bonus * Manufacturer-specific training (e.g. Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric) is also beneficial What We’re Looking For: * Proven experience in refrigeration or HVACR engineering * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills * Confidence working in commercial or healthcare environments * Ability to manage your own workload across multiple sites * A professional, customer-first approach
