Caretaker - Lovely Islington Primary School
We are working with a primary school in Islington recruiting for a dedicated Caretaker for an ASAP start. This role is central to the school’s daily operations, ensuring the building remains a safe and inspiring place for students to learn.
The Role You will take full ownership of the school site, from managing the heating systems to ensuring the premises are clear of hazards. The role requires an individual who is comfortable with both administrative compliance and physical maintenance tasks. Key responsibilities include:
Managing the school’s heating and lighting systems for energy efficiency
Performing "handyperson" tasks such as fixing locks, taps, and shelving
Maintaining the school’s health and safety logbooks and risk assessments
Ensuring the school grounds are kept free of litter and debris
Supervising the cleaning contract and ensuring high standards of hygiene
