Legal Intern (Hiring Immediately)
About Bits
Bits is an innovative financial technology company that is revolutionizing the way people build credit. We are dedicated to helping consumers, especially the underbanked and marginalized, to access credit and improve their financial wellbeing. With a focus on individuals in the UK and the US, we are on a mission to empower the next generation to live a healthy and strong financial life.
As a young and dynamic company, we have experienced rapid growth since our founding in 2018. Our remote developer team spans across Europe, while our executive, HR, marketing, legal, and design teams are based in London. At Bits, we foster a diverse and inclusive work environment and value the expertise and dedication of our team members.
About the Role:
We are seeking a Legal Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience working as an in-house legal consultant. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our founder and CEO to drive the business forward and provide legal research and advice on complex product issues. This internship program was launched last year and has already seen successful participation from multiple students. It is a unique opportunity to apply your legal knowledge in a fast-paced and high-growth environment.
Working at Bits allowed me to apply the knowledge I gained during my studies to real business challenges and provide practical advice to the team. It was an enriching experience that solidified my legal knowledge. Despite the fast-paced startup environment, I had the privilege to work with friendly and competent colleagues who provided guidance and support throughout my time at Bits.
