INSIDE IR35 HYBRID CONTRACT ROLE (LONDON UK)

Our client is seeking a strategic and customer-centric Salesforce Loyalty Management (formerly Loyalty Cloud) Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of next-generation enterprise loyalty programs. In this role, you will translate complex marketing, retention, and customer lifetime value (CLV) strategies into scalable technical architectures within the Salesforce ecosystem. You will design overarching loyalty models-including tiers, currencies, earn/burn rules, and partner ecosystems-while ensuring seamless orchestration across Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, and external Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Loyalty Architecture Design: Architect end-to-end loyalty programs, defining the data models and structures for Program Members, Tiers, Qualifying/Non-Qualifying Currencies, Vouchers, and Benefits.

• Rules & Promotions Strategy: Design complex, scalable logic for Transaction Journal processing, utilising Loyalty Rules, Flows, and Promotion setups to automate point accrual, tier upgrades, and reward fulfilment.

• Cross-Cloud Integration: Oversee the architectural alignment of Loyalty Management with broader Salesforce clouds-specifically integrating with Service Cloud for member support, Marketing Cloud for transactional/promotional messaging, and Commerce Cloud for checkout redemption.

• Partner & B2B2C Ecosystems: Design architectures that support multi-partner loyalty programs, enabling external vendors and B2B partners to issue, redeem, and reconcile loyalty currencies.

• Stakeholder Alignment: Partner with CMOs, Directors of Retention, and product teams to assess the technical feasibility of loyalty strategies, ensuring the platform can support both immediate campaign needs and long-term program evolution.

Must-Have Skills

• Experience: 3+ years of Salesforce Solution Architecture experience, with at least 1+ years specifically designing and deploying Salesforce Loyalty Management .

• Core Loyalty Expertise: Deep functional knowledge of loyalty program mechanics, including tier progression algorithms, point expiration policies, liability management, and voucher life cycles.

• Salesforce Core Architecture: Strong understanding of Salesforce declarative automation (Flow, Process Builder) and the core Salesforce data model, as Loyalty Management is built natively on the Salesforce platform.

• Integration Knowledge: Proven ability to architect high-volume integrations between Salesforce and external transactional systems (POS, ERP, external E-commerce platforms) via REST/SOAP APIs and Middleware.

Optional Skills

• Data & Segmentation: Experience integrating Loyalty Management with Salesforce Data Cloud to drive Real Time segmentations and personalised loyalty experiences.

• Industry Expertise: Proven experience building complex loyalty architectures in vertical-specific domains, such as Travel & Hospitality, Retail, or Financial Services.

• UX/UI Familiarity: Understanding of how to expose Loyalty APIs to build custom member portals or mobile applications (eg, Experience Cloud, native iOS/Android apps).

• Advanced Analytics: Experience integrating with CRM Analytics (Tableau CRM) to build dashboards tracking program liabilities, member engagement, and ROI.
