Technical Pricing Analyst
Job Description
A leading UK travel insurance specialist is expanding their pricing team. As a Technical Pricing Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how they price their products across direct sales and comparison platforms. You'll work alongside commercial, underwriting, and product teams to deliver pricing strategies that balance competitiveness with profitability.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Design and implement pricing frameworks for travel insurance products across multiple distribution channels, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives
- Build, test, and refine predictive models to optimise product performance and customer outcomes
- Conduct deep-dive analysis on market dynamics, customer behaviour, and competitor positioning to inform strategic decisions
- Partner with cross-functional teams to automate pricing workflows and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- A numerate degree (Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or similar) with 1+ years' experience in pricing, analytics, or data science
- Strong technical capability in analytical programming languages and modern pricing platforms
- A commercially-minded problem solver who can translate complex data into clear business recommendations
