Lead Commercial Manager - SC

Role : Lead Commercial Manager

Contract Length: 12 Months initially

Location : London, Manchester, Croydon or Durham (Whichever is closest - 1-3 days/week on site)

IR35 : Inside

Rate: £675/day (Umbrella)

Security Clearance : SC Clearance

Minimum Requirement:

• Commercial and procurement knowledge (use of OJEU procedures, such as Competitive Dialogue)
• Legal understanding
• Contract drafting
• Negotiation
• Stakeholder management
• Run full Procurements – experience of working with Supplier off framework

As a Lead Commercial Manager, your main responsibilities will be:

• The candidate must take a leading role or provide support as required across all activities within the procurement lifecycle
• Responsibilities include developing procurement plans, conducting market analysis, engaging with the market, preparing procurement documentation, negotiating with suppliers, and governance activities
• This role requires balancing the wider demand across the current commercial team to ensure successful delivery of procurement objectives

Essential:

• Responsibilities include developing procurement plans, conducting market analysis, engaging with the market, preparing procurement documentation, negotiating with suppliers, and governance activities
• Experience within IT procurement
• The successful candidate must take a leading role leading or provide support as required across all activites within the procurement lifecycle
