About the Role
As a Spanish Teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering a passion for the Spanish language and culture among students of all abilities. You will be responsible for:
- Delivering engaging and effective Spanish lessons to students across various levels, from beginner to advanced
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive curriculum aligned with national standards
- Employing creative teaching methods and strategies to cater to diverse learning styles
- Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to facilitate improvement
- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the Spanish department's overall effectiveness
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Spanish or a related field
- Strong command of both spoken and written Spanish
- Proven teaching experience at secondary school level, preferably with experience teaching GCSE and A-Level Spanish
- Enthusiasm for teaching and a passion for the Spanish language and culture
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create a positive and stimulating learning environment
