About the role
The Learning & Teaching Coach is a new, exciting role which plays a key part in enhancing the quality of teaching and learning across the Beauty, Hairdressing, and Hair & Media Make-Up curriculum areas at London College of Beauty Therapy by coaching and mentoring teaching staff. This role supports the development of innovative and inclusive teaching practices, leading to improved student outcomes, progression, and experience.
This role is within EFI Group; however, the primary focus will be to support teachers based at the London College of Beauty Therapy (LCBT).
About you
- Qualifications: PGCE (or equivalent) and Level 3+ vocational qualification in Beauty Therapy, Hairdressing, or Hair & Media Make-up.
- Experience: Proven track record of improving teaching and learning, with experience mentoring staff and integrating technology in teaching, learning and assessment.
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of awarding body standards, educational pedagogy, teaching, learning and assessment, and FE quality assurance frameworks.
- Skills: Excellent communicator with the ability to engage effectively with staff, students, and external partners.
- Passion: Passionate about vocational education and teacher success and committed to high standards of teaching and learning.

Salary:
From £21,240 to £23,600 per annum (pro-rata from £26,550 to £29,500 FTE), subject to qualifications and experience
