We are seeking an exceptional Security Account Director to take strategic ownership of one of our most prestigious security contracts.

This is a highly visible leadership position, offering the opportunity to lead a large-scale security operation, influence key business decisions, and build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving service excellence, operational performance, commercial success, and a high-performing culture across a complex and demanding environment.

This role is ideal for an accomplished security professional who combines strategic thinking with strong operational leadership and is comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels, from frontline teams through to executive leadership.

About the Role:

As Security Account Director, you will have full accountability for the successful delivery and ongoing development of security services across a major client account. You will act as the senior point of contact for the client, ensuring a first-class service whilst identifying opportunities to enhance performance, strengthen partnerships, and deliver long-term value. Working closely with operational and support functions, you will ensure that security services remain compliant, commercially effective, and aligned to the client's evolving business needs.

• Provide strategic leadership and overall accountability for the successful delivery of security services across the contract.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as the primary escalation and advisory point.
• Lead and develop a high-performing management team, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement and excellence.
• Ensure all contractual KPIs, service standards and compliance requirements are consistently achieved.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance, efficiency and client satisfaction.
• Oversee contract governance, risk management, resilience planning and incident response activities.
• Manage financial performance, budgets and resources to ensure commercial objectives are met.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen service delivery, support contract growth and add long-term value for the client.

• Significant leadership experience within the security industry.
• Experience managing complex, high-profile client accounts.
• Strong commercial and financial management capability.
• Demonstrable success in leading large operational teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• A track record of delivering continuous improvement and service innovation.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with a hands-on leadership approach.
• Exceptional communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Essential Requirements
• SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
• The ability to travel to different sites around the UK
• First Aid at Work Qualification.
• Ability to travel occasionally when required.
