Junior Systems & Data Analyst
Make the extraordinary, everlasting - with us.
At EC, we craft extraordinary experiences that leave a lasting impression - not just for our clients, but for our people too. We blend the big ideas of a creative agency with the meticulous execution of a production company, bringing bold, imaginative events to life.
We’re collaborative, down-to-earth, and serious about delivering quality - all while finding time for lightness and fun. If you’re someone who’s curious, adaptable and excited to do meaningful work with a team that’s got your back, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Junior Systems & Data Analyst to help strengthen how we support the business across systems and data. Reporting into the Director of Data & IT, you’ll work closely with the Systems & Data team to keep our core systems running smoothly and our reporting accurate, reliable and trusted.
This is a hybrid role, with three days a week based in our Bermondsey office, working closely with the team and wider business.
Who are you?
You are interested in working with data and systems and learning how they are used to support business processes and decision making.
You have at least 1 year of experience working with data, reporting or systems.
You are comfortable working with Excel, using it to analyse and understand data.
You have strong attention to detail and take pride in producing accurate, reliable work.
You’re organised and able to manage multiple tasks, keeping track of priorities and follow ups.
You have a logical, methodical approach and enjoy spotting issues, inconsistencies, or opportunities for improvement.
You’re confident communicating with others, asking questions when you’re unsure, and escalating issues appropriately.
You’re keen to learn new tools, systems, and processes as part of a supportive team, including developing your skills in automation tools (Zapier) and data analysis tools (Power BI).
You have an interest in new and emerging technologies, including AI, and how they can be applied in a practical business context.
It would be great (but not essential) if you had some experience of:
Power Query in Excel
BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio
Automation tools such as Power Automate, Zapier, or Make.com
CRM apps such as HubSpot, Salesforce or Dynamics
Project Management apps such as Monday.com, Asana or ClickUp
Using SQL to query or extract data
Creating or updating technical documentation and user guides
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Support the administration of core business systems, including BI, CRM, asset and project management platforms.
Maintaining and updating reports and dashboards in tools such as Power BI and Excel.
Performing data quality checks, resolving issues and escalating where required.
Working with our Data Analyst to create and check new reporting and insights.
Working with our Systems Manager on system configuration tasks such as setting up fields, properties, and automations.
Support with testing system updates, new features, and escalating issues where required.
Carrying out user management in line with our onboarding and offboarding processes.
Assisting with providing application and reporting support to the wider business, using our service desk to manage and respond to requests.
Maintaining systems and reporting technical documentation and user guides.
Work closely with the Systems & Data team to support current projects and priorities, gaining experience and developing skills across systems and data as the role evolves.
Ensuring all work undertaken follows the company’s data security, privacy, and compliance guidelines when handling sensitive information.
