We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Spanish teacher for an excellent independent school in Camden. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Spanish lessons that align with the National Curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and success
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback for improvement
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to discuss student performance and progress
- Attend staff meetings, professional development workshops, and other school events
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in Spanish language teaching
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Spanish or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
- Previous experience teaching Spanish at primary or secondary level
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire and motivate students
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Familiarity with classroom technology and software applications for teaching Spanish.
