We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Spanish teacher for an excellent independent school in Camden. Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Spanish lessons that align with the National Curriculum
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and success
  • Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback for improvement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to discuss student performance and progress
  • Attend staff meetings, professional development workshops, and other school events
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in Spanish language teaching

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Spanish or a related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Previous experience teaching Spanish at primary or secondary level
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire and motivate students
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Familiarity with classroom technology and software applications for teaching Spanish.
