Senior Technical Manager- London/Agile Working-£Very Competitive

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Providing practical and technical support on complex issues to their engagement teams.
- Demonstrating strong technical knowledge.
- Seeking to provide effective and specific advice, with a focus on quality.
- Working collaboratively within both a small specialist team, and the broader technical team, to share knowledge, experience and advice. This will extend to technical projects and the development of guidance for the firm.
- Having the ability and knowledge to be able to assist teams with a fair amount of independence, along with the humility to seek support and advice when required.
The role involves supporting their audit and advisory teams with a range of predominantly audit and assurance focused queries.
This list of responsibilities is not an exhaustive list of duties, and the postholder will be required to undertake any other reasonable duties as discussed and directed by their line manager.
To be successful in this role……..
- Someone who is ACA or ACCA qualified.
- An audit background.
- A familiarity with a range of different audit reporting under the ISAs UK (including 700, 701 and 800).
- Previous experience in a technical audit role.
- Experience of other assurance standards (ISAE (UK) 3000, ISRS 4400, ISRE 2410 etc).
- Knowledge of UK company law, predominantly those elements of the Companies Act 2006 linked to audit.
- Knowledge of UK accounting standards (particularly IFRS, FRS 101, FRS 102).
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal; and
- Experience of providing technical training (both in person and online)
