A successful school in Croydon is seeking an experienced and reliable Site Manager to join its team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional to take responsibility for the day-to-day maintenance, security and general upkeep of the school premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff.

About the Role
The successful candidate will oversee the daily running of the school site, ensuring that buildings, grounds and facilities are maintained to a high standard. You will play an important role in health and safety, site security and coordinating maintenance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the general maintenance and upkeep of the school premises.
Carry out routine site inspections and identify repair requirements.
Manage site security, including opening and closing the school.
Ensure health and safety procedures are followed across the premises.
Coordinate contractors and external maintenance providers.
Respond to maintenance issues and support the smooth running of the school.
The Ideal Candidate
Has previous experience in a Site Manager, Premises Manager or Caretaker role.
Has a good understanding of site maintenance and health and safety procedures.
Is practical, organised and confident working independently.
Demonstrates strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Can manage competing priorities and respond effectively to urgent issues.
