Role Responsibility

You will be the creative drive in digital growth at dailyrecord.co.uk through editorial and commercial innovation.

You will have worked as a journalist on a national newsbrand and be a wordsmith, with the instinctive ability to craft a great story.

Your journalistic talent coupled with an eye for a great picture or video will only be matched by excellent social media, SEO and analytical knowledge.

The Ideal Candidate

It is vital that you demonstrate a good understanding of Scottish culture with emphasis on politics and sport.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be very much 'hands on', working in partnership with our editors and colleagues at mirror.co.uk to shape strategy and develop our business.

The ability to motivate and develop a great team, a good contacts book and, as digital ambassador for our company, a talent for networking, are all essential.
