I am currently working with a Top 100 independent accountancy firm looking for a Tax Semi-Senior to join its growing tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with personal tax experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Within this role you will be working closely with experienced tax professionals, gaining exposure to a varied portfolio of clients, including HNWI, OMB's, self-employed professionals, partnerships etc. The firm offers genuine career progression, ongoing professional development and involvement in a broad range of personal tax matters.

The Role:
As a tax semi-senior, you will manage your own portfolio of clients and support with the delivery of high-quality personal tax compliance services. The role offers exposure to a broad range of tax matters and the opportunity to build strong client relationships.

• Preparing and submitting self-assessment tax returns for a varied client portfolio
• Managing approximately 150-200 clients
• Assisting with personal tax, capital gains tax and all compliance matters
• Preparing P11Ds and supporting employee benefits compliance work
• Supporting the wide tax tram with ad hoc advisory projects and client work
• Liaising directly with HMRC regarding tax queries and compliance matters

About you:

• Previous experience working in personal tax within an accountancy practice environment
• ATT qualified or actively studying towards a tax qualification
• Strong understanding of UK personal tax legislation
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
