Our client is a leading Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) contractor headquartered in Kent, with a proven track record delivering major projects across the residential, commercial, and leisure sectors. The Project
The role is based on a landmark £17m high-rise residential development in Wandsworth , consisting of a 35-storey tower with premium apartments, leisure facilities, and amenities . With a 92-week programme , this is a long-term and career-defining opportunity to be part of a major project.
The Role
We are seeking an Electrical Supervisor to lead the on-site electrical delivery. You will oversee the electrical installation works, coordinate site teams, and ensure that programme, quality, and compliance standards are achieved throughout.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate electrical site teams and subcontractors.
Ensure works are delivered to specification, drawings, and programme deadlines.
Monitor and enforce health, safety, and quality standards on site.
Oversee testing, commissioning, and inspection of electrical installations.
Liaise with the Project Manager, Site Managers, and client representatives.
Ensure timely ordering, delivery, and management of electrical materials.
Provide progress updates, reporting issues and risks to senior management.
Candidate Requirements
Experience as an Electrical Supervisor in the M&E contracting sector.
Track record on large-scale residential projects (ideally £10m+).
Recognised electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, AM2, 18th Edition).
SSSTS/SMSTS certification (preferred).
Excellent technical knowledge of electrical systems and installation methods.
Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical documentation.
Proactive, safety-first mindset with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Package
Permanent: £50,000 – £65,000 per annum (depending on experience) + benefits.
Contract: Competitive day/hourly rate.
