Primary Teacher - Special Needs School - Chiswick - MLD - Full-Time - December Start
A supportive and inclusive Special Needs School in Chiswick is seeking a passionate and skilled Primary Teacher to join their dedicated team. The school caters for pupils with Moderate to Complex Learning Difficulties (MLD/CLD) and is committed to helping every child achieve their full potential through personalised learning and a nurturing environment.
Primary Teacher Responsibilities:Lead a small, well-supported primary class with a range of learning needs.
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with individual EHCPs.
Use creative, multisensory, and child-centred approaches to support progress and engagement.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and specialist staff.
Foster a positive, safe, and encouraging classroom environment.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching pupils with MLD, SLD, or complex learning needs (school will consider strong primary mainstream teachers with SEN experience).
Strong behaviour management and a nurturing, flexible approach.
Ability to commit to a full-time, long-term role.
Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
A warm and supportive SEN-focused environment.
Highly skilled support staff in every class.
Ongoing CPD and development opportunities.
