LewishamI am currently recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. As a Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will support students either one-on-one or in a group setting throughout the school day. Your role will involve supporting pupils in the classroom, participating in specialist mentoring sessions, and assisting during some break times. The classes are made up of 8 -10 children, and the classes are built up based on the needs of the children rather than their age. As a key member of the child's support team, you will collaborate closely with the SENCO, senior management, and external professionals such as therapists, healthcare providers, and CAMHS. Job Requirements Experience in supporting children or young adults with SEND is desirable but is not essential.
