Part-time Nanny Role, Job ID J1D887
A lovely family in Notting Hill, London, is seeking a Part-time Nanny to help care for their delightful toddler and school-aged child. They are looking for an experienced, caring, and easy-going candidate with a sound understanding of child development. The role involves all standard childcare duties. While there is a strong preference for German-speaking candidates, English-speaking applicants will also be considered.
A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: 1 or 2 days per week, ideally 5 to 8 hours per day
Duties include:
- Cook and prepare healthy meals for the children
- Follow established morning and afternoon routines
- Change nappies and support potty/toilet training
- Assist the older child with homework and learning tasks
- Teach and reinforce general life skills, including basic hygiene and good manners
- Organise creative activities and arrange playdates
- Prepare and serve nutritious food and snacks for the children
- Assist with bath time and bedtime routines
- Clean and wash up after children’s meals
- Wash and iron children’s clothes, ensuring their wardrobe is well maintained
- Keep parents informed by reporting daily activities and any concerns or issues
