Site Manager
My client is approaching their 80th year in business and have built up an excellent reputation for the quality of their delivery, client focus and complexity of work undertaken. My client is a well-established and highly respected company within the Fit Out/Refurbishment sector, known for its strong commitment to employee development and a positive work culture. Despite building a name as one of the ‘go to’ contractors for commercial projects in London they have a track record of successfully delivering a diverse range of healthcare, retail, leisure and education projects, with jobs ranging in contract value between £1m - £60m. Building strong and long lasting relationships with everyone they work with has been key to their growth and success. With a large proportion of their work coming from recommendation and repeat business. Project: £30M+ Cat B Fit Out in London Delivering a premium Category B commercial fit-out valued at over £30 million. This project involves transforming a high-spec office space to exacting client standards, with a strong focus on design detail, modern workplace functionality, and seamless integration of MEP services. Responsibilities as a Site Manager:
- Manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Supervise on-site teams and subcontractors to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Develop and manage project schedules, resources, and procurement plans.
- Ensure compliance with building regulations, health & safety standards, and legal requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and address issues or delays promptly.
- Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to keep projects aligned
