ScotRail are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role as a trusted advisor for our senior stakeholders. Our Finance Business Partners play a pivotal role in providing strategic financial insights and support to drive decision-making within their respective directorates, providing a key financial planning service, supporting and challenging teams in equal measure, to enable the business to make informed management decisions based on the timeously and accurate financial information supplied. What you bring Extensive experience working in a finance business partnering role within a cross-functional, multi-matrix organisation, with public sector experience desirable. Qualified accountant (ICAS, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant management accounts, financial-modelling and appraisal skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively influence senior and executive level stakeholders and challenge with impact. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks, opportunities and make data-driven decisions. A proactive, collaborative, and commercially minded approach. Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, ERP systems). What we offer you: Contributory Final Salary Pension scheme.
