About Us: Words First is a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team consisting of Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Educational Psychologists, and Play Therapists. Our diverse team includes therapists from 19 different countries, collectively speaking 38 languages!
The Role: We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic newly qualified Speech and Language Therapists (SaLTs)to join our team. As a Words First SaLT, you will work in both mainstream and specialist school settings, providing assessments, therapy sessions, teacher training, and support to students with communication difficulties. Requirements:
- An HCPC-approved degree in Speech and Language Therapy .
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or in the process of registering.
- Experience working with a paediatric caseload in a school setting is preferred.
- Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills .
