Technology Counsel, Consumer Brand
This high profile retail consumer business is part of everyday life for people all over the UK. Whilst certainly a much loved retail brand, its ability to constantly deliver for customers is driven by its investment in technology, logistics and automation.
The Opportunity
The business now has an opportunity for a Technology Lawyer to join and be a true business partner with the company’s technology team. You will both lead and support on complex technology transitions, AI, SaaS, automation and robotics. You will also be involved in projects, transformation and innovation. The company operates in a very competitive space and this position will manage and negotiate high profile technology contracts which are key to ensuring the company’s consistent and reliable delivery for clients.
About You
The role will suit a technology law who has a keen interest in AI and how technology operates in a consumer focussed environment. Key for this role is an ability to provide strong legal support on technology matters and yet work closely with the business, advising and supporting in a commercial way.
A strong technology and AI background is key, with any experience acting for retail and consumer clients being highly regarded. The ability to build effective working relationships across the business is also key. You will have the opportunity to find out how a high profile retail business operates and learn how to best support the business, particularly from a technology perspective.
