Operational Resilience Manager
My client is seeking an experienced professional to drive their Operational Resilience strategy and ensure the continuity of critical services in the face of disruption. This is a high-impact role at the heart of their risk and resilience framework, offering the opportunity to shape and strengthen the resilience of a leading financial institution.
You will.
- Lead the annual review of Important Business Services (IBS) and Impact Tolerances, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and business priorities.
- Oversee resource mapping across internal teams and key third-party providers to identify and assess all operational dependencies.
- Challenge and enhance recovery and contingency measures, both internally and with strategic vendors.
- Design and execute the client’s resilience testing programme, validating their ability to maintain IBS within tolerances under severe but plausible scenarios.
- Drive remediation and continuous improvement, addressing vulnerabilities and strengthening resilience capabilities.
- Monitor resilience performance, prepare the annual Self-Assessment Report, and manage responses to regulatory requests.
In addition, you will support Business Continuity Management, including ISO 22301 audits, plan development and testing, and assurance of third-party arrangements. Collaboration with technology teams will be key to ensuring robust system and data recovery capabilities.
About you.
- Proven expertise in Operational Resilience and Business Continuity within financial services.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Ability to design and run complex scenario tests and resilience exercises.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior leaders and external partners.
This is a strategic leadership role for a resilience expert who thrives in a dynamic, regulated environment. If you are ready to make a tangible impact on the stability and security of a leading financial institution, we’d love to hear from you.
