Full-Stack Developer (3-Month Contract)
Creative House Internal Platform Enhancement Project
VISUALHOUSE is an international creative agency focused on creating compelling brand stories for architecture design and the built environment. We work worldwide with leading architects developers and designers on landmark projects. Each project is unique and to each we bring passion and expertise with our multidisciplinary creative teams skilled in 3D visualization still imagery film and animation as well as branding and interactive. Together these disciplines form a cohesive and creative vision to produce compelling brand narratives for our clients. We have studios in New York London and Barcelona.
Visualhouse is seeking a talented Full-Stack Developer for a 3-month contract to help evolve and stabilise our internal platform Creative House which is used to create proposals manage client and internal reviews and store project data. This is a great opportunity for a developer who enjoys owning features end-to-end and improving real operational tools used daily by creative and production teams.
About the Project
Our internal platform Creative House enables teams to:
- Create and manage new business proposals
- Invoice clients
- Upload work-in-progress for internal and client review
- Annotation tool for giving feedback
- Store and track data
You will work on implementing new features enhancing existing functionality and fixing known bugs to improve reliability workflow efficiency and user experience.
What Were Looking For
Essential Experience
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with a modern front-end framework (React Vue or Angular)
- Backend experience with (Express/Nest/Koa) or similar
- Skilled in building and consuming REST APIs (GraphQL a bonus)
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL MySQL MongoDB)
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS Azure GCP)
- Competent with Git and standard development workflows
- Experience integrating file upload systems (S3 Cloudinary etc.)
Nice to Have
- Experience interpreting and implementing designs from Figma
- Exposure to creative agency workflows or project management tools
- Basic DevOps / CI-CD pipeline knowledge
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization frameworks (OAuth JWT RBAC)

Contract Details
