Learning and Development Coordinator

The Global Learning and Talent team serves over 5,000 people from over 60 offices across both fee earner and business services functions. The team provides personalised learning and talent experiences, supporting diverse individuals to build their personal capability for rewarding and engaging careers. In doing so, the team oversees career milestone inductions, personalised coaching and bespoke development programmes, mentoring and on-demand digital learning. The team also designs and delivers global talent programmes and leadership experiences, driving regional talent planning processes and activating relevant career development pathways. The team strives for global consistency and impact as far as practicable, collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders across the regions, including regional HR teams e and centres of excellence such as Organisational Development, Legal Delivery, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Early Careers teams. This role will provide coordination and administrative support to the Learning and Talent team for key projects, programmes and initiatives.   • Administer our internal Learning Management System (LMS), My Development for curriculum and class creation, updating attendance, data collection, reporting and uploading recordings with high levels of accuracy.
  • Coordinate and administer our trainings and inductions. This includes scheduling, gathering materials, PowerPoint design, tracking attendance, managing and monitoring spreadsheets, feedback and evaluation/metrics. We also require the role to provide technical support during live instructor-led virtual sessions - monitoring chatbox and managing polls etc.
  • Monitor the Learning and Talent Inbox and respond to emails in a timely manner to meet our internal service level standards, consulting with the wider team and subject matter experts where required
  • Support with the coordination and administration of global strategic priorities and projects and commit to the principles of team operational excellence - ensuring we have consistent and efficient processes in our administration and coordination globally
  • Contribute to the maintenance of accurate data on budgets and spend in order to provide inputs to annual budget processes as required. Effectively manage invoices, cost codes and delivery partner relationships in line with the L&T procedures and in conjunction with other Clyde & Co Business Services teams such as Procurement and Finance.
  • Support the L&T Managers and Advisors with the coordination of learning needs analysis for practice groups and business services teams.
  • Coordinate and produce accurate and insightful data and consistent metrics for learning and development programmes and initiatives to support local and global reporting requirements.
  • Actively engage with ongoing process improvement and effective knowledge management with the L&T.
  • Coordinate regular quality assurance activity with L&T content in SharePoint folders and all related internal webpages.
  • Continuously develop knowledge across a broad range of learning topics.
  • Support the marketing and communication of learning and development opportunities across the firm alongside progress of L&T strategic priorities.
  • Whilst each role holder will be required to provide cover for their Learning & Development Coordinator colleagues, they may be required to engage more fully with one of these focus areas to build subject matter expertise and support continuous improvement activity:
  • Talent and leadership programmes to include coaching and mentoring provisions
  • Early careers programmes to include support for the apprenticeship levy
  • Personal development skills to include bespoke development days, digital learning assets and dashboard reporting

    Proven experience working in a professional learning environment or a similar field.
  • Experience working with a Learning Management System (highly desirable)
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven working knowledge and experience of MS packages and strong IT skills essential (particularly PPT. and Excel)
  • Understands the need for continuous improvement and actively seeks constructive feedback
