Electrical & Controls Engineer

So, what’s it all about?
As our next Electrical and Controls Engineer, you'll need to be assertive and tenacious. Working with a team of skilled professionals, you'll be required to be the sites go to engineer when it comes to maintaining and repairing electrical and controls systems faults.
To excel in this position, you will need to be able to lead the project of helping increase the controls systems knowledge on site within the engineering team, training and developing the shift engineer’s ability within automation, in line with company standards, whilst continuing to support them with more challenging tasks.
You will be comfortable adapting to different situations that arise in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be comfortable dealing with and resolving issues while working on a range of automated equipment.
The Key Requirements...
To have a thorough understanding of automation within a factory environment
To be able to program, modify, fault find and repair PLC systems
Hold a high-level and recognisable electrical engineering qualification (degree, HND, HNC, OND, ONC etc)
